Adox CHS50

Adox CHS50 sits between the 100 and the 25 in terms of speed in the CHS series. It is similar to the CHS100 in that it boasts a wide latitude and it extremely flexible in both exposure and development, but with the addition of extremely fine grain. CHS50 also offers excellent tonal separation and a high degree of sharpness. As with all CHS films the emulsion is soft and delicate when wet and you should be careful when processing . CHS films are often described as being reminiscent of mid twentieth century emulsions and with the CHS50 beautiful prints will await you.

Important Processing Recommendations
As with all Adox films please ensure they are treated very carefully during processing. The Emulsion is extremely delicate and will show damage very easily. These films should never be processed in temperatures greater than 20 degrees C. and only a water stop bath should be used. If processing sheet film in dishes, only process one sheet at a time and treat the emulsion with a great deal of care at all times. If the film is being processed by a commercial lab, please make sure they are aware of these requirements.
