Established in 1947, Fotokemika, the company which makes Efke films, started to make a range of photographic paper, chemicals and simple cameras. To this day the company continues to make the Efke brand and also much of the ADOX range. We list most of the Efke products under the Adox brand, with the exception of the Infrared and 127 range which are currently still branded Efke. The Infrared if now of particular interest with the discontinuance of Kodak HIE. It's slower than the Kodak, but its a lot cheaper!
The company continues production at it's Samobor plant in Croatia using much of the original German machinery used for original Adox production. The beauty of this is products with qualities unattainable from modern mass produced film and paper.
