Kentmere Fineprint Fibre Base (FB)
KENTMERE FINEPRINT is a black and white paper with a traditional fibre base 'FB', coated with a variable contrast emulsion. Using standard filtration, contrast from grades 00 to 5 are achievable. Currently only available in GLOSS surface, this is a traditional unglazed glossy surface and particularly suited to portrait landscape and exhibition work. A very high gloss can be achieved by standard glazing techniques, or leave to dry naturally for a lower gloss sheen. We are expecting Harman Ilford to formulate a Matt version of this paper at some point in the near future. Stocks of the old 'Finegrain' version of this paper are now completely depleted - as an alternative we suggest Fomabrom 123 as it has a very similar textured surface, although differs in other ways of course.
