Foma Fomapan Film
Foma Bohemia spol., based in the Czech Republic, can strech it's origins back to 1921, with the first black and white films and papers being produced in the early 1930's. Today the company boasts a 400 strong workforce, and compliance to ISO9001 since 1997. Foma offers a great line up of classic black and white films in three speeds, ISO 100, 200 and 400 together with a black and white reversal film of ISO100.
It should be noted, when compared to Ilford, Kodak or Fuji, these films are "character" products - sometimes, although rarely, they may display quirky features which may be interpreted at emulsion defects. This is all part of the charater of the films and under these circumstances it is difficult to get the product replaced by the manufacturer.
