Multigrade Enlargers
Most popular in the Kaiser range, these are enlargers with the filtration for multigrade, variable contrast, black and white paper built into the head. This means that separate filters for varying contrast are not required. Contrast is varied with the ease of a thumb dial on the front of the head and exposure time does not change with adjustment - very convenient. As 95% of black and white papers on the market today are variable contrast type, these enlargers make a lot of sense for anyone looking to specialise in monochrome. They can of course be used with traditional individually graded papers also.
